Second of four children born to I.R. and Rebecca (Burtsfield) Monnette. Married to Anita Fabian who predeceased him, two children, four grandchildren, and great-grandchildren survive. Also survived by loving companion, J.B. sister in law and former brother in law. Predeceased by siblings John Monnette, Mary Jean Koblentz-Bowen, and Harriett Ann Ludwig. He was a farmer, skilled builder, an executive with General Telephone of Ohio. He loved to travel, and a good game of Bridge or Euchre. He was an honest man, a brave man and a man who understand that making the right decision was sometimes the hard decision. United States Navy Veteran, World War II.
