Ervin Leslie Fisher, 75, a resident of Hazleton and formerly of Bath, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Weatherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Hazleton on July 19, 1941, he was a son of the late William and Frances (Miller) Fisher. He graduated from Chester High School, served in the Army and worked as a chef in several different restaurants and facilities in Maryland, New York and New Jersey.

He worshiped at The Salvation Army and in his spare time enjoyed doing genealogies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, William and Donald Fisher.

Surviving are his sisters, Lucilla Rinehimer and her husband, Harold, Hazleton; and Olga Royer, Wichita Falls, Texas; brother, Ralph Fisher and his wife, Elsa, Ashton; sister, Alberta Garrett and her husband, George, Glen Riddle; brother, Albert Fisher and his wife, Patsy, Bella Vista, Ark.; and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, Ervin’s remains will be laid to rest in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
