Mrs. Vera O’Pry, as known as Judy Alderman, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 in the Stagecoach Senior Living Center in Magnolia. Mrs. O’Pry was June 10, 1930 to Lee Emory and Vera Gentry Alderman on her grandfather’s farm in Houston County. Judy was a graduate of Latexo High School in 1947 and later worked at Haliburton. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Kay O’Pry; sons, Michael Robert O’Pry, and Gary Kenneth O’Pry; parents, Lee Emory and Vera Gentry Alderman; sister, Murel Allen and husband, Horace; brother, Donald Lee Alderman; brother-in-law, Aubry Lenderman.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vera O’Pry will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jessie Hardy officiating.
