CHARMCO-Willis Gerdon Nelson 55, of Culpepper, Va., formerly of Charmco, Greenbrier County, died Friday at his home after an apparent heart attack.
He was employed by the Virginia Department of Highways.
Surviving: wife, Bertha Asbury Nelson; daughters, Mrs Lena Mae Spurlin of Fort Benning Ga., Mrs. Loma Alice Cade of Culpepper, Va. and Mrs. Loretta Gaye Haun of King George, Va.; sons, Billy Ray of Shrewsbury and Barry Nolan of Culpepper, Va.; sister Mrs. Ruth Kessler of Leslie, brothers, Elmer of Leslie and James of Culpepper, Va.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Smathers Funeral Home In Rainelle with the Rev. L L Dorsey officiating. Burial will be in the McMillion Cemetery on Big Mountain.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
