Steven F. Aikens, 57, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at his residence. He was the husband of Jo Anne (Shriver) Aikens.

Steve was born December 20, 1960, in Altoona, the son of Helen (Franks) Aikens of Duncansville, and the late Clarence Aikens.

Steve was an Eagle Scout, a 1978 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, served in the U.S. Navy from 1978-1984, and was employed for 34 years with Xcerra. He was a member of the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, Yeagertown Fire Company, and R Camp. Steve loved to travel, spend time with his family and friends, and tinkering and fixing anything. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan, and would do anything for anyone.

In addition to his wife Jo Anne, and his mother Helen, Steve is survived by four sisters, Janice Snowberger and her husband Larry, Linda Dodson and her husband Paul, Nancy Kirby and Gloria Collier, all of Duncansville, a brother, David Aikens of Hollidaysburg, 20 nieces and nephews, a stepdaughter, Celeste Klinedinst and her husband Allen of Hanover, a stepson, Gregory Groft, Jr, and his companion Melissa Rhinehart of Hanover, and four step grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Allen Aikens.

Funeral services will be held with Rev. Elizabeth George officiating. Burial will be in Conewago Chapel Cemetery.
