WEBB FUNERAL HOME OBITUARY – 2018

Vivian E. Mattingly, 73, Shelbyville, died Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home. She was a native of Prospect, KY and the daughter of the late Alonzo & Fanny Murphy Mattingly. She was a homemaker. In her leisure time, she enjoyed country music. She was an individual with a big heart who enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Tina Phillips (Danny) of Smithfield, Diego James Howell (Elaine) of Boston, KY and Trevor Howell of Florida; five siblings, Mary Frances Nation (James M.) of Smithfield, Maynard Mattingly of Eastwood, Victory M. Stewart of Mt. Washington, William Arnold Mattingly (Carol) of Mt. Washington and Eva Jewell Mattingly (Vincent) of Louisville; her grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation was selected in accordance with her wishes. A memorial service will be held at a later date with private interment of the cremated remains. Arrangements have been entrusted to Webb Funeral Home.
