STETHEM, Amelia E. Age 88, a resident of the Brookwood Retirement Community, passed away Thursday evening. She was born in Sharonville, Ohio, February 2, 1919, and lived most of her life in Middletown. Mrs. Stethem was a member of Holy Family Parish. She loved baking, her garden and her yard. Survivors include her 2 grandchildren, Ann Stethem and John (Tricia) Stethem; 2 great-grandchildren, Jack Patrick and Catherine Suzanne; her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Stethem; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stethem in 1985; and by her son, James H. Stethem in 2003. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, June 4, at Holy Trinity Chapel, celebrated by Father John Civille. Friends may call from 10:30 AM till service time Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.
