Emery G. Platz, 97, Town of Rhine, passed away Saturday morning, November 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
He was born September 17, 1921, to the late Leonard L. and Clara (Schmahl) Platz. Emery spent his entire life working on the family farm in the Town of Rhine.
He is survived by numerous cousins, neighbors and friends who have helped him the past few years.
Funeral Services for Emery will be held at 2:00pm on Friday November 30, 2018 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 6th St., Kiel) with Pastor Rebecca Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Kiel City Cemetery.
A time of gathering for relatives and friends will take place at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm.
