Mr. Harley Attaway, one of the oldest citizens of Burke County, departed this life on Sunday last, aged 73 years. Mr. A leaves a large family and an extensive circle of friends to mourn his departure to the spirit land. He was a good citizen, a kind and benevolent neighbor, an affectionate parent and husband, for many years a member of the baptist Church, and a devoted Christian.
