Diane M. Alexander, 37, of Long Beach died Jan. 17 at home, a victim of a homicide. Born in San Mateo County, Miss Alexander graduated from Bret Harte High School in Angels Camp and lived in Stockton until moving to Long Beach in 1987. Throughout her career, she worked in the care-giving field and was a preschool teacher and later worked with disabled adults. She was a social worker at Palmcrest North Convalescent Hospital in Long Beach for the past seven years.
She is survived by her sister, Linda J. Mascarenas of Stockton; a brother; Steven Mascarenas of Brisbane; and her mother, Barbara M. Siess of Las Vegas.
Memorial services will be at — p.m. Wednesday in Stockton.
