He is survived by wife, Jerry (Staudt) Docktor; son, John (Melody) Docktor; daughter, Mary Ann (Randy) Docktor-Smith; sister, Marie Nance; grandchildren, Anne, Jennifer, Cory, Crystal and Sheila; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Cora Schaffer, Albert Docktor, and Leona Docktor, and grandchild, Connie Docktor.
Leo worked for the railroad for forty years. He was a lifelong member of Calvary United Methodist Church and a member of the Prospect Masonic Lodge.
