James Jospeh Abenante, Jr. passed away on November 1, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Mary. Loving father of James J, III, Darlene, Robert and Anthony. Cherished grandfather of seven and great grandfather of three. Also a dear brother to Michael and Lorraine. Will always be remembered as a true family man and good guy. Reposing Wednesday November 7, 2018 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. Bronx, NY. Wake service Wednesday evening and interment Thursday St. Raymond's Cemetery.
