Beverly J. Danekas, age 85 of St. Charles, IL formerly of Hinckley, IL passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Brighton Gardens of St. Charles, St. Charles, IL. She was born on June 8, 1933 in Hinckley, IL the daughter of Gerald and Florence (Meyer) Thomas. Beverly was united in marriage on July 27, 1952 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley, IL to Mr. Wilfred E. Danekas Jr. and they spent the next 58 happy years together until his passing on June 23, 2011. She was a longtime member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley, IL. Mrs. Danekas, and her husband, Wilfred were longtime farmers and members of the DeKalb County Farm Bureau. She was also, for 30 years, a School Bus Driver in the Hinckley-Big Rock School District. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Beverly is survived by her children, Sharon (David) Coleman of Sycamore, IL and Ronald Danekas of DeKalb, IL; her granddaughters, Kimberly (Jay) Wilkerson of Sycamore, IL, Kelly (Nicholas) Duffy of Chattanooga, TN and Jennifer (Jason) Simon of Milwaukee, WI; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Cole Wilkerson and Elizabeth Duffy; her daughter-in-law, Janet Danekas of Hinckley, IL; her sisters Nancy (William) Kuppler of Hinckley, IL, Patricia Thomas of Aurora, IL, and Carolyn Gaddie of Aurora, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Florence Thomas; her husband, Wilfred E. Danekas Jr; her son, William Danekas; and her sister, Shirley Frantum. A Funeral Service for Mrs. Danekas will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 12760 Lee Road, Hinckley, IL with Reverend Cory Marth, officiating. Interment will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hinckley, IL.
