Abraham L. Hess killed himself almost instantly Saturday in the office of his cigar factory, 17 North Eutaw street, by shooting himself in the head with a pistol. It is said that depression in his business over which he brooded, caused him to commit the deed. Mr. Hess was twenty-nine years old and boarded at 409 West Saratoga street. He was the son of Mr. Isaac E. Hess, who lives at 1907 Eutaw Place. Dr. Louis E. Hess and Isaac Hess are his brothers. He was unmarried.
