From the Anniston (AL) Star, Sunday, July 22, 1945:
James Henry Anderson, 7, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Anderson of Rt. 1, Choccolocco, died yesterday at 4:30 a.m. at Anniston Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Funeral service will be held this afternoon at 5 o'clock at Rabbittown Church, with the Rev. T. D. Stovall and the Rev. J. L. Doss officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Usrey in charge. Besides the parents, he is survived by the grandparents, R. G. Anderson of Douglasville, GA, and Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Cross of Rt. 1, Wellington; two uncles, Henry Carter and Albert Cross, both of Birmingham; and three aunts, Mrs. Clara Phillips and Mrs. Louise Johnson, both of Jacksonville, and Mrs. Leonora Mae Williamson of Wellington.
