Mr. Sample has been connected for several years with the H. C. Carter Cotton Company. Mrs. Sample goes by way of Chicago, where she will spend a few weeks with her cousin, Mrs. Warren Wheelock, (Janie Howard Govan), and Mr. Sample goes direct to New York. They have a host of friends who regret their departure from Jackson, but congratulate them on Mr. Sample's connection with so important a corporation in New York.
