Clarence R. Kuss, 74, executive vice-president of the Brownsburg State Bank, died today in his home there.
Born at Wanatah, Mr. Kuss was associated with banks in Helena, Mont., and at Gary before coming to Indianapolis in 1934. In Indianapolis, he was financial director of Methodist Hospital, then secretary-treasurer of the Union-Trust Co. until its merger with the Indiana National Bank. He became associated with the new organization, going to Brownsburg in 1954.
Services will be at 2 p.m. in Jones & Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with burial at Gary.
Survivors are the widow, Hazel Kuss; two daughters, Mrs. M. P. Avery Jr., Gary, and Mrs. H. E. Weimer, St. Joseph, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Charles Fenska, South Bend; a brother, Charles Kuss, Delray Beach, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
