AGE 82 YEARS
Joyce I. Seasholtz, of Jersey Shore, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at her home. She was daughter to the late George R. Aurand and the former Mary E. Brouse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brennan M. Seasholtz.
Joyce was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and the Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1957. She retired from ManorCare as the assistant director of nursing and the staff development coordinator in Jersey Shore, after 23 years of service.
Joyce was a member of the Tiadaghton Quilt Guild and was a longtime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Craig A. (Tammy) Seasholtz, of Avis, and Lester R. (Angie) Seasholtz, of Grayson, Ga.; a daughter, LuAnn A. Seasholtz Boock, of Hazleton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Donald R. (Charlotte) Aurand, of Dubois, Gary Aurand, of Beach Haven, N.J., and John (Terry) Aurand, of Jersey Shore.
A funeral service will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
She will be laid to rest in the New Berlin Cemetery.
