FRED F. GRUNWALD

Fred F. Grunwald, 68, of 1918 13th street, Two Rivers, a resident of that city for nearly 40 years died this noon at the Two Rivers municipal hospital. He has been in failing health several years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home, the Rev. W.G. Haese officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery.

Mr. Grunwald was born in Germany and when a boy accompanied his parents to Chicago. He married Miss Cecelia Geimer there in 1900 and six years later the couple moved to Two Rivers. Mr. Geimer (sic) was a carpet weaver for years and later was employed at the Vaudreuil Canning plant, Behringer company and the Metalware corporation. He retired 12 years ago because of ill heath (sic).

Survivors are his wife; daughter, Leona, welfare director at Two Rivers; son, Arthur, of Two Rivers; brother, John of Chicago, and a grandson.The body may be viewed from 7 p.m. Tuesday until the hour of the services at the funeral home.
