Regina was born in Sugar Notch, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Niewulis Wlosinski.
She was a life resident of Sugar Notch and was a member of Sugar Notch High School's graduating class of 1939.
She attended Wilkes-Barre Business School and later furthered her education and attained her licensed practical nurse degree. She was proud to serve in the military in the U.S. Women Army Corps until her honorable discharge.
Regina was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sugar Notch, where she was a former member of the Contraternity of Christian Woman.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her brothers, Michael and Zigmund Wlosinski; sister, Celia Dupree and son-in-law, George Fallon.
Henry and Regina's lives centered on their family and they took great pride in not only raising their four children, but also actively taking part in the lives of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her four loving children, Andrea Fallon, Michael Balakier and wife, Bonnie; Linda Helfrick and her husband, Bob; and David Balakier, all of Sugar Notch.
Left to cherish their memory are grandchildren, Donna and her husband, Michael Kester; Dara and her husband, Joseph Ropierski; Deandra Fallon, Rob Helfrick, Michael Balakier, Justin Helfrick and Eric Balakier; along with great-grandchildren, who adored their "Grandmama," Alexandra, Jacob and Joshua Kester, Elijah, Cael and ShyaLyn Ropietski, Brady Fallon and Lyla Marie Balakier; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held for both Henry and Regina Friday at George Strish Inc. Funeral Homes, Ashley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish, Sugar Notch, with the Rev. J. Kakareka and the Rev. L. Kaminski con-celebrating.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
