He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelmodean W. Akin Nunn on October 3, 2010 having united in marriage on November 18, 1972. Survivors include his children, a brother and sister, 17 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mr. Nunn was also preceded in death by two sons: Joseph Nunn in the Vietnam War, and Steve Nunn on December 4, 2013; seven brothers and three sisters. The funeral services for Mr. Loran Lile Nunn will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Central Time, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Altman Cemetery. Dr. Gary Ervin officiating. Visitation is requested after 9 A.M., Central Time, Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Altman Cemetery Fund or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
