Mr. Loran Lile Nunn of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late Amos Nunn and Ruth Lile Nunn, was born on Thursday, August 16, 1928 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Facility. He was 90 years, 3 months, and 18 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was retired from Fruit of the Loom, Inc. and the oil field business.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelmodean W. Akin Nunn on October 3, 2010 having united in marriage on November 18, 1972. Survivors include his children, a brother and sister, 17 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mr. Nunn was also preceded in death by two sons: Joseph Nunn in the Vietnam War, and Steve Nunn on December 4, 2013; seven brothers and three sisters. The funeral services for Mr. Loran Lile Nunn will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Central Time, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Altman Cemetery. Dr. Gary Ervin officiating. Visitation is requested after 9 A.M., Central Time, Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
