Mrs. Helen Parke
Mrs. Helen Holcombe Parke, daughter of the late Dr. A. W Holcombe of Kokomo, died suddenly Thursday at Pinehurst, North Carolina, while visiting friends there. Mrs. Parke, whose home was at 364 Hess Street S, Hamilton, Ontario, was. believed to have had a heart-attack. She was born May 10, 1897 in Kokomo, and was graduated from Kokomo High School. She attended a private school in Washington, D.C. Cremation will be at Hamilton on Saturday, with private rites there at 4:30 p.m. Surviving are two sons George, of Dunbee, Hamilton Ontario, and Harold, also of Ontario, and four grandchildren. Mrs. Parke's husband, Harold Sr, is deceased. Mrs. Parke was a frequent visitor here while her father, who died August 13, 1981, was living. She and her father visited often in Pinehurst and he visited her in Hamilton frequently.
