GRANVILLE — Frederick N. Baker, 65, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999, at his residence following a long illness.
Born Sept. 7, 1934, in Granville, he was the son of Newton and Eva (Large) Baker.
He had been employed at the former Hercules/Ciba Geigy Co. in Hudson Falls.
For 13 years he coached Little League and enjoyed woodworking and traveling.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the South Granville Congregational Church.
Funeral services will he conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville with the Rev. Merideth Vandermindcn officiating.
Burial will be at Mettowee Valley Cemetery, Granville.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family has suggested memorials be in the form of contributions to Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital, Pruyn Pavilion, 102 Park St., Glens Falls. NY 12801.
