She was born to Ray Vernon and Virginia Harriet (Forbes) Aylor . Eileen was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth and she graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1944.
After graduating from high school, she worked at the County Court House in the Office of Price Administration and Rationing during WWII. Then Eileen worked at International Harvester for four years. She met Lloyd Eldridge Morehead and they were later married on August 30, 1947 at Holy Rosary Church in Plattsmouth. Eileen and Lloyd made their home and raised their children in Plattsmouth. She was a loving stay at home mom and homemaker. After her children were raised, she worked at the Glenwood State School for fifteen years.
Eileen was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit and the PCCW (Parish Council of Catholic Women) both of Plattsmouth.
