Ida Burch, 99, a resident of Golden Living Center in Tylertown, died there Nov. 18, 2008.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, with a Rosary Service there at 10:30 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Father Martin Gillespie will officiate. Burial will be in Burch Cemetery. Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burch was born May 19, 1909, in Pensacola, Fla., to Francis and Cora Davis Daniel.
She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Burch was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hiram J. Burch; and a son, Russell Burch.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Douglas and Colleen Hay, both of Tylertown; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Richard Hay, Paul Douglas, Christopher Burkes, Andrew Burkes, Dave Burkes, Matthew Hay and Justin Hay.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity.
