Sheila M. (Behm) Koch-Riccardi, 75, of Fleetwood, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday evening, December 13, 2018, at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

Born April 7, 1943, in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. and Hilda E. (Rapp) Behm.

Sheila spent over 30 years working for Western Electric and its successors, AT&T and Lucent Technologies as a department manager in optoelectronics. After retirement, she turned her love of sewing into a thriving business, operating Stitching Solutions for over 20 years.

Sheila was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown, where she was involved in many activities including the womens group, the holiday bazaar and pierogi making. She was a 1961 graduate of Oley Valley High School and went on to obtain her bachelor's degree in business from Kutztown State College. Sheila loved sewing, cooking, baking and gardening and most of all spending time with her family.

Sheila is survived by her son, Kevin E. Koch, husband of Nancy L. (Atkins) Koch, Fredericksburg, Va., her granddaughter, Kirby L. (Koch) Delloiacono, wife of Alfred S. Delloiacono, Fredericksburg, Va.; and her great-granddaughter, Ellie L. Delloiacono. She is also survived by her sister, Martha (Behm) Goodwin, widow of Richard Goodwin, Stony Creek Mills; her brother, John Behm, husband of Gayle (Newman) Behm, Westfield, Pa.; and her brother, Philip E. Behm Sr., husband of Dian L. (Bailey) Behm, Fleetwood.

Along with her parents, Sheila was preceded in death by her sisters, Grace Strunk and Ruth Bennett.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA, with Monsignor Walter T. Scheaffer as celebrant. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services PC, Fleetwood, is honored to be caring for Sheila and her family.
