Sarah was born Aug. 3, 1860, in Geneseo, Henry Co., Illinois. The 4th of 8 children born to John & Myram Stephenson Raper. Married to John W. Harry on Aug. 15, 1877, parents of one son, Admer Eugene Harry. Sarah (or Sally, as she was affectionately called by family), died at a very early age on Sept. 4, 1887, in Walnut Twp., Adair Co., Iowa. According to family accounts, it was quite possibly rheumatoid arthritis that was the cause of her death.
