Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Leslie Glen Abrams was born October 20, 1935 in Callender, IA to Ralph and Mildred Abrams. He attended Fort Dodge Schools and graduated from Tobin Business College. Les joined the Army in 1953 where he spent 2 years in Japan during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1957. In 1958, Les married Madelyn Harmon. To this union was born a daughter Joleen. He was employed at USG for several years then worked for the Postal service from 1965 until 1992 when he retired. Les was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Joleen McClintock, son Craig Harmon, brothers Ron, Harold, Claude, and sister Jeanette. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Madelyn, daughter Linda Gord, brothers Ralph and Larry. Also 7 grandchildren, Ashley McClintock, Samantha McClintock, Jamie Harmon, Sundance Bock, Michael Gord, Jeremy Gord, Justin Harmon and 5 great grandchildren. Les was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
