Lena M. Poth, 84, of Sheboygan died Tuesday, December 24, 1985 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
She was born April 23, 1901 in the Town of Meeme, Manitowoc County, WI, a daughter of Albert and Anna (Widder) Meyer. She attended schools in the Town of Meeme and the Town of Sheboygan.
On June 9, 1920, she married Henry F. Poth Sr. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death in 1975.
She was employed by H. C. Prange Co. and also at Henry Poth Food Market for many years. Mrs. Poth was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, St. John's Women's Guild and the Sheboygan Christian Women.
Survivors include one son, Henry J. Poth Jr. of Newton; two daughters, Mrs. Alton (Dolores) Grams of North Prairie, WI and Mrs. Orval (Cleora) Marx of Elkhart Lake, WI; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 28, 1985 at St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Vernon Jaberg, pastor, officiating. Burial took place in Wildwood Cemetery, in Sheboygan.
