He was born in Portage, the son of Vincent and Dorothy Milton. He married the love of his life, Lois Ann Wipperfurth on May 28,1966, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Cross Plains. He referred to Douglas County as being his true home.
He is survived by his wife; two children, Kristi (Kevin) Campos of Cross Plains, and Kraig of Hayward; sisters, Jane (Tom) Bainbridge of Hurley, and Joann (Gary) Pivotto of Middleton; grandson, Dominic Campos; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Teri Nolen.
There will be no service held. Memorials may be made to St. Maria Goretti Church or Agrace HospiceCare. The family would like to thank the palliative care unit staff at UW Hospital, especially Dr. Micke, and the staff at Agrace HospiceCare.
