Donna M. Biely, age 85, of Manitowoc, passed away Monday afternoon, December 17, 2018 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Donna was born on November 23, 1933 in the town of Franklin, daughter of the late Louis and Stella (Dugan) Hill. She grew up in the town of Franklin and graduated with the class of 1952 from Reedsville High School. On November 25, 1952, Donna married Lyle Biely at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove. He preceded her in death on February 4, 1990. She worked as a secretary at American Feeder Pig Marketing Co op in Francis Creek and the couple owned and operated Biely's Bar in Menchalville for thirteen years. In her later years, Donna worked as a Deli and Bakery Clerk at Larry's Piggly Wiggly in Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church of Francis Creek, St. Anne Altar Society, Francis Creek-Rockwood Senior Citizens and the WFLA Lodge #221 of Menchalville.
She is survived by her four children: Allan (Susie) Biely, Mishicot; Roger Dworak, Whitelaw; Mark (Lois) Biely, Menchalville; Rick Biely, Lake Worth, FL; Kim Biely and Joe Kohlbeck, Whitelaw; eight grandchildren: David (Dianna) Biely, Two Rivers; Becky Biely and Ivan Ocinschii, Madison; Jamie Biely and Paula Sprang, MI; Curt Biely, Menchalville; Cory (Clare) Biely, Poy Sippi; Chad Dworak, Manitowoc; Amanda (Nick) Pribek, Whitelaw; Cara Biely and Luke Hopkins, Wrightstown; seven great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild due in January 2019; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom (Judy) Hill, Wayside; Jack (Donna) Hill, Suamico; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Germaine Biely, Manitowoc; Ann (Bernie) Schmenk, Toledo, OH, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Stella Hill; her husband; Lyle Biely; one daughter: Linda Dworak; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Judy Biely; Charles Biely; Quirin (LaVern) Biely.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Jeffrey J. Briones will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
