Norma Lee "I.E." Davies, 91, of Clearwater, Fla., and formerly of Terre Haute, Ind., died peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018. She was born on Nov. 24, 1927, to John and Laverne (Gilmour) Hill.
She married David Thomas Davies on Aug. 18, 1947, and after 60 years of marriage, he preceded her in death. She retired from Columbia Records in 1979.
I.E. is survived by her adoring family, including her loving son, John Davies of Clearwater; two daughters, Mary Ann Jenkins and husband Bill of Naples, Fla., and LeeAnn Mann and husband Eddie of Long Island, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Jeff Jenkins and wife Chrissy of Nashville, Tenn., and Morgan Lee Moccia and wife Joanna of Long Island; three great-grandchildren, Avery, Beau, and Hunter; one sister, Mary Alice Dunnichay and brother-in-law, Jerry; along with nine nieces and nephews.
I.E. was a member of Alpha Omicron PI Sorority, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter West Terre Haute, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a long standing member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Terre Haute, and Lutheran Church of the Palm in Palm Harbor, Fla.
