Helen M. Armetta, 79, of Sykesville, died Monday, Jan. 12,2004, at Stella Maris Hospice. Born Dec. 6,1924, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stefanina Muffoletto Armetta. She had been a homemaker for most of her life. Surviving are brother Anthony J. Armetta; and nephews Joseph, Andrew and Michael T. Armetta and Lawrence Del Prete. She was predeceased by siblings Roy, James, Sam and Jack Armetta and Rita Del Prete. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, with the Rev. Patrick Tonry officiating.
