Funeral services for were held Monday at Baptist Church in Maysville for Edith Leona Walck, lifelong resident of Payne.
The Rev. Mike Sturgel of Payne Baptist Church officiated with burial in Greenhill Cemetery uner the direction of Winans Funeral Home.
Born June 7, 1905 at Rosedale to Richard and Alva LaCount Baker, Mrs. Walck died Thursday at Lexington Nursing Home. She was 88 and had been a long time member of the Payne Baptist Church.
She was married to Floyd Anthony Walck at Pauls Valley on April 16, 1921. He preceded her in death in 1965.
Also preceding her in death were four brothers, John Elza, (Pete) Luther Galveston, (Doc) Julius Allen, (Bill) Lester Carter Baker, one sister Essie Beach and grandson Jimmy Floyd Phillips.
Mrs. Walck is survived by Juanita Carter of Norman, Wanda Beth Gray of Maysville, and Oleta June Rands of Mattawan, Mi; three sons, Max Melvin Walck of Lindsay, Vance Benny Walck of Lindsay, and Billy Joe Walck of Tecumseh, 21 grandchildren,45 g-grandchildren, and 14 gg-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Etta Mitchell of Clovis, New Mexico and Julia Mantooth of Maysville and two brothers, Archie Baker and Eulis Baker of Clovis, NM.
