Round Top, November 2, 1889--
Mr. Levi B. HOUSEL, whose illness was mentioned in the "Agitatior" a short time ago, died at this place last Wednesday afternoon, of dropsy, in the sixty fifth year of his age. The funeral was held at the church at eleven o'clock yesterday. Rev. Mr. CHAMBERLAYNE, of Wellsboro conducted the service. The remains were deposited in the cemetery on Shumway hill. {Illegible} HOUSEL came to this place from Frenchtown, N.J. about ten or twelve years ago and established himself in his trade, shoemaking, which occupation he followed until he was laid up by the illness which caused his death. He was highly esteemed as a quiet citizen and obliging neighbor. He leaves a wife and two adult children, a son and a daughter, to mourn his loss."
