Donald L. Roosevelt, 86, of Mount Carmel, Illinois died Dec. 02, 2015 in Mount Carmel.
Donald was born March 10, 1929 in Edwards County the son of John Earl and May West Roosevelt.

Don was a farmer in Edwards County, and also worked for George’s Farm Supply in West Salem.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Robert, John and Paul Roosevelt and daughter, Jeanann Roosevelt.

Survivors include his loving wife, Elaine Roosevelt; sister Evelyn Boewe, twin brother Darrell (Wanda) Roosevelt; four sons, Steve (Paula) Roosevelt, Mike (Jackie) Roosevelt, Tim Roosevelt, Chris Roosevelt; one stepson, Sid Davis; five grandchildren, Jenifer Roosevelt (Ian Miller), Hannah Roosevelt (Daniel Kinney), Eve Roosevelt, Travis (Dionna) Roosevelt, Shayla (Wesley) McNamer; and four great grandchildren, Celia Miller, Nevaeh Roosevelt, and Eli and Rheya McNamer. Don is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Don will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
