Mildred Brewington
Mrs. Mildred L Brewington, 61, of Sharps Point Rd., Shad Point, died Monday in Deer's Head Center after a short illness. Her husband is Leroy H Brewington. Born in Chincoteague, she was a daughter of the late Morris and Ada Jester Bowden. Mrs. Brewington had worked for more than 18 years at the Pine Bluff State Hospital. She was a member of Washington United Methodist Church at Shad Point. Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Gerald R Tarr, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Jacqueline R Robinson, Annapolis, and Mrs. Ada V Ward, Crisfield; a stepson, Leroy H Brewington III, Seaford; six grandchildren; a brother, Donald L Bowden, Crisfield; a sister, Mrs. Phyllis B Francis, Salisbury, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm in the Hill-Baker-Bounds Funeral Home. The Rev. William A Turner will officiate. Interment will be in Shad Point Cemetery. The family suggests that, as a tribute to the memory of the deceased, contributions may be made to the Washington United Methodist Church.
