Funeral services for Charles Hice Adams were held 3 p.m. Thursday at Morgan's Funeral Home. The Rev. J Bill Jones officiated with Rev. Henry Rowland assisting. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Adams, 81, died at Caldwell County Hospital 11:30 p.m. Tuesday June 18. He had not enjoyed good health for several years and resided at 313 North Jefferson Street.
He was a son of the late James Monroe Adams and Leah Howard Adams, born in Trigg County, September 20, 1886. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Laura Lamb Adams; three daughters, Mrs. Claude P'Pool and Mrs James Berkley, both of Princeton and Mrs. James Goforth of Erwin, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
