In Korean War, and was a POW. Sergeant in US Army. Taken prisoner in South Korea on 2-12-1951. Died as POW on 5-31-1951. Was in the 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. Awarded the following medals; The Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Prisoner of War Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
