CONNERSVILLE - Nellie P. Scott, 62, 6284 S. County Road 50 W died Monday, July 29, 1996, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born June 26, 1934, in Fayette County and had lived 31 years in Hebron, Ky., before returning to Fayette County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Laurel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Earl H. "Skeeter" Scott, whom she married March 1, 1950; one son, Jeffrey E. Scott of Connersville; three half brothers, Charles, Marvin C. and Fred L. Bergen, all of Connersville; five half-sisters, Ethel Dye of Andersonville, Faye White of Connersville, Hazel Grizzell of Fairview, Phyllis Ellison of Brookville and Alice Bulmer of Laurel ; three grandchildren. Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Trees officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at the funeral home.
