Charles E. Adams, 69, of Pontiac, passed away at 2:39 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, at his home.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac with Randy Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery in Pontiac with full military rites accorded.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Chuck was born June 26, 1949, in Pontiac, to William W. and Dorothy N. (Harris) Adams. He married Patricia Putz in April 2005. She passed away March 12, 2017.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Shirley Elmore and Nancy Brennan.
Chuck was a graduate of Pontiac Township High School, Class of 1967. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1973. Over the years, Chuck worked for the Pontiac Chair Company, Bloomington Normal Seating and retired from Caterpillar in 2018. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.
