Edna Mae "Jeri" LeVander, 92 of Valparaiso, formerly of Schererville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019. She was born October 18, 1926 in Seattle, Washington to Faye and Rose (Daoust) Tinsley.

She was a devoted wife and homemaker for 40 years to her late husband Edwin. On March 14, 1974 Jeri married Edwin N. LeVander, who preceded her in death in 2014.
She is survived by her children: Phil Spagel of California, Patricia (Doug Coe) Wheatley of California, Janice (Tommy) Crosby of New Jersey; step-children: Doug LeVander of Highland, Indiana, Danielle (Mark) Popovich of Valparaiso, Indiana; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
