DONALD EDWARD ARTHUR, 84, of Culloden, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born on January 20, 1934, in Ona, a son of the late Joe and Thelma McComas Arthur. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Violet Morrison Arthur; two brothers, Bill Arthur and Jim Arthur; and two sisters, Betty Kinnard and Wanda Wintz. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Keith Templeton; one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Loretta Arthur; one sister, Janet Shull; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Tia, Lisa, Danny, Rodney, Allen and Rene; and nine great-grandchildren, Brayden, Bryson, Samantha, Emma, Conner, Hunter, Lilly, Jordan and Aaron. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Tracy Call officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff at the hospice house for their love and care.
