Born May 31, 1934, he was the son of W. G. and Erma Trammell Curry, of Rye, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Juanita Spakes Curry, who he married April 22, 1955.
Royce attended Woodlawn Public Schools. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Ft. Bragg N.C. in the Chemical Corps as a trainer. He was a farm manager in Chicot County before his retirement. Before his illness, he was an outdoorsman and avid hunter.
He is survived by his son, Michael D. Curry (Joanna) of Fayetteville, AR, and one grandson, Adam Curry, also of Fayetteville, AR.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 12, at Union Cemetery in Rye, AR with the Rev. Boyd Savage officiating.
Arrangements are by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
