Charles William Adams, 73, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, 6 Mar 2016. He was predeceased by his brother, Oscar David Adams; and his parents, Dorothy Vernelle Adams and Oscar Adams. He was survived by his wife of 53 years, a son and his wife, two grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters, and 11 nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Mechanicsville. He was a Virginian by birth and the grace of God. He served his country in the Army Reserve. He attended Gethsemane Church of Christ as a child; and worshipped at Mechanicsville Church of Christ and Ashland Church of Christ as an adult. He was a friend to many and a stranger to none.
