He served in the U.S. Army. Paul then began working at the Wisconsin Power and Light Power Plant, Alliant Energy, in Cassville, until retiring in 1991.
On Dec. 2, 1962, he married Marjorie Kirschbaum at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville.
Paul enjoyed traveling, fishing and hunting ducks, deer, squirrel and rabbits. He also enjoyed playing cribbage.
Every morning, Paul drove to Nelson Dewey Park and then to the river and met with his friends. He really enjoyed the mornings.
Paul was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post No. 7080 of Cassville and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
