Fred "Buck" Altes, 66, an insurance adjuster for the Louisville & Nashville Railroad, died at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Infirmary. He lived at 1900 Lewiston Drive.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Roxie Altes; two daughters, Mrs. Junie Roadcap and Mrs. Harry Bauer; a son, Fred Altes; a sister, Mrs. A. J. Arthober; two brothers, William and Louis Altes; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at the O. D. White Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third St. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
