Husband of Catherine E "Bair" Calvin

William D Calvin, husband of Mrs Catherine E Calvin (nee Bair) passed away suddenly Sunday 23 1965. He was 67 years old.

Mr. Calvin was born March 20 1898 in Labadie. He was baptized in Pacific, and later confirmed and educated in Washington. After schooling he obtained employment in St Louis. At the age of twenty-one years became employed at St Albans Farms until his retirement due to ill health in 1960.

Mr Calvin had been had been in ill health for the past five years and death came suddenly.

October 22 1922 he was married to Catherine E Bair. To this union seven children were born, six of whom he leaves to survive.

He was a member ot the St Johns Church, Gildehaus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Clarence W Calvin July 11. 1960; three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Mrs Catherine E Calvin;four daughters, Mrs Edward Ham and Mrs. William Caldwell, both of Labadie; Mrs. Ervin Barringhaus Washington and Mrs Albert Schroeder, Villa Ridge; two sons, Joseph of Pacific, and Kenneth Calvin of Florissant; four sosn in law; two daughters in law; twenty grandchildren; two brothers Roy of Pacific and Jesse Calvin of Washington; sisters in law; brothers in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday May 26 at 8am at the Nieburg and Vitt Funeral Home and 9am at St Johns Church Gildehaus. Interment was in the St Bridgets Cemetery Pacific.
