Son of William Morris Inman and Ursula Riddle. Married Jemima "Mima" Martin, she was unable to have children. All three of his children were the children of his wife's niece, Jemima D. "Mima" Slone Young (dau. of Alexander Slone and Matilda Martin). Jemima Martin Inman, his wife, as well as his mother Ursula, is buried in the Garrett Hill Cemetery (at Garrett). Jemima D. Slone Young is buried in the Collins' Cemetery at Dema, near Wayland, Floyd County. William Morrison and Jemima D. Slone Inman's children are: Adam "Add" Inmon (1876-1952), Noah Inman (1877-1958), and Ursula "Usley" Inman Sizemore (1879-?).
NOTE: He and Jemima Slone never married, she stayed in the house with both of them and worked a servant, the census records clearly show that she's the mother of these children, other evidence is their childrens' death certificates, and the fact that the story has persisted in the family to this day.
