Hannah M. Crosley, 77, 3330 Stone Park Bl., died Thursday August 17, 1989, in a Sioux City Hospital after a long illness.
Services will be 10 am Monday at St John's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Robert L. Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-9 pm today, with a prayer service at 7pm at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
The former Hannah M. Trudell was born October 16, 1911 in Santee, Nebraska. She attended Victory school in Hill Twp., Lindy, Nebraska, and St. Augustana Convent in Winnebago, Nebraska. She also attended St Francis School in South Dakota and Mitchel Business College in South Dakota. She married George M. Crosley, November 27, 1929 in Yankton, South Dakota. The couple farmed for 57 years, then moved to Niobrara, Nebraska, May 27, 1978, then moved to Sioux City November 6, 1982 where George died September 14, 1988.
She was a member of Niobrara Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons, John, Carl, Robert, all of Niobrara, five daughters, Edna Warren and Mrs. Roland (Gloria) Kluender both of Sioux City, Mrs. Dale (Betty) Warren of Emerson, Nebraska, Mrs. Leo (Phyllis) Stickney of Smithland, Iowa and Mrs. Robert (Carol) Workman of Lincoln, Nebraska. Two brothers, Martin and Valntine Trudell both of Sioux City, two sisters Mrs. Frances Bacon of Salem, Oregon, and Mrs. Luella Carson of Niobrara, Nebraska, twenty eight grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
A memorial has been established in her name with St John's Lutheran Church. (Had photo of her)
